It has been drizzling all day in San Diego and it looks to be slowly increasing in intensity as the day goes on. The wind is a little gusty as well. I am looking forward to this adventure, but I wonder if my feelings will have changed by the end of my 12.5 mile ride. I barely remember what it is like to have little puddles in my bike shoes and need to wear clear glasses to keep rain and truck spray out of my eyes. Update to follow.
Have fun--remember how great it is--and that you're not just another "fair weather" cyclist. After all, how many inches annually do you get there in SD county? You'll do fine.
