Today we rode through Kerby, OR before entering California. This little place seems like an oasis for people who love to work with wood, especially wooden items containing tree burls. There was a fountain streaming some mysterious (probably magical) purple potion. There were 3 tree houses and a wooden "hovercraft". All the architecture was like something you would find at the Oregon Country Fair.

Hope you gals took lots of pix, I'd sure love to see some of the work. It's been 2001 sense I was last there; the food was great and the people are really nice. You can tell the moments you step back into California.
