Erin, Julia and I barely made it to the Amtrak station in Portland in time to load our bikes and be seated. It was a little disheartening that every Amtrak employee we encountered was not only unfriendly, but quite rude as well. We will all be glad to be locomoting on our set of wheels tomorrow. Klamath Falls is just 7 hours away and our first night of camping at Crater Lake only a day away!
